I know just to irritate me theres gonna be 100s come in on that most probs. Having 4 suprim cards in 2 months is pathetic though.

No coil whine I could hear, and I tried game menus etc. Stock was going up to 78, the issue was fans went over 2000. I use a sound system rather than earphones. Undervolting and a fan curve sorted it under 70 and 1500 rpm, which is fine, but not 100% stable. Overclocked max was mental heat noise, and much less than Astral out the box. Just didnt feel right for me.
For £2150, thats more like it and better than FE probably.
Fortunately, I wasnt worried re budget as made profit on 4090 (?) and had a compensation thing, so really treated myself for the 1st time in my life!
Had my circustances been different, I would keep it and stick a Heatkiller waterblock on it.

"Jesus Christ" in that he had a psychological epiphany about the state of energy/matter/gravitational force, or as in that looks like a blouse a cocktail waitress on an oil rig would wear?
 
The Solid seemed sold out as soon as the notification came through haha.

Well good news on the backlog being cleared. Hopefully I'll get mine tomorrow and can finally get back to PC gaming.
 
For all those posts in the last few hours saying the 5090 Astral is loud (yes it is when you take it out of the box), but it really isn't once you flick the silent bios switch and undervolt.
Mine really is silent, can't even hear it when benching steel nomad.

Was due to be having a gaming trio delivered today from a pre-order but cancelled it last night. Not worth ebaying it given the amount of Trio drops in the last 2 days

I think it was "Jesus Christ" in that he was trying to think of something to say that wasn't too rude to say about the new toy I'd just spent £2400 on.
