NVIDIA RTX 50 SERIES - (PRE)ORDER DISCUSSION **NO COMPETITOR HINTING**

I had one in my bag but then didnt go with it. I have the Palit gamrerock on back order and its £150 less.... its bad enough spending that amount without going any higher i think

For all those posts in the last few hours saying the 5090 Astral is loud (yes it is when you take it out of the box), but it really isn't once you flick the silent bios switch and undervolt.
Mine really is silent, can't even hear it when benching steel nomad.

Was due to be having a gaming trio delivered today from a pre-order but cancelled it last night. Not worth ebaying it given the amount of Trio drops in the last 2 days
The key step there is undervolting it. If you update the bios and switch to silent, it still makes a racket.

new update on air suprim from other place. 2 messages sent monday and tuesday (was told previously that it was due on monday) went unanswered. spoke to live chat today and told me no update but while my estimated dispatch is still tomorrow (20th. pushed back daily every day for 3 weeks) they said my new estimated dispatch is the 28th. so theve ethier "lost" a stock of msi or its gone somewhere else as i remember @Nitefly saying his was the 28th and hes further back in the queue from me. last time i partake in this and il wait the 6 months i think for stock to be okay before i buy
Just checked mine, ETA was 24th-28th same as nitefly's, now its the 31st-4th. Wasnt expecting it to be next week, seemed too good to be true:cry:

if someone bought a 5090 from OCUK and used it for 5 days then decided they didnt want it and returned within the return window, would they get a full refund back or will there be a deduction because the person opened the box?

If there is a restocking deduction such as 10% of lets say £2900 which is a deduction of £290 so the person gets back £2610 is that allowed and is that fair or is that against UK consumer rights??

Full refund as long as it is in the same condition even if used. I know from experience

This if the product is un-used then a full refund.

If the product is opened and has marks on it for example where it’s been screwed and secured into a case the consumer law is now different and the reseller can make a fair reduction as the product can no longer be resold as new.

I’m not sure when the law changed but believe it was in last two years.

How many 5090s has OCUK sold?
What brand is the most popular sold?
What GPU do you use as of right now?

I’m afraid that data is not for public consumption but we have sold over 1000 and shipped over that amount. :)

I don’t have a PC but I am tempted by maybe a 9070 XT build for a SIM rig in future would just depend on what game I want to play and what GPU would be required for say 120fps plus on a 49” curved screen if that requires a 5090 then so be it but suspect for racing games a mid tier card would be more than capable. :)

Another site I won't mention has removed or rather listed 5090 Suprim's as "discontinued" which doesn't sound good.

So it looks like 5080 availability is much improved now ? I ordered a Palit last night (from another site) at very close to RRP.

Still had more available when I went to bed (tho gone this morning)
5080 supply is improving but 5090's are rarer than hen's teeth apparently they're being siphoned off at distributor level for "professional usage" according to Videocardz.

How much was your preorder for?

Was the 5090 Astral OC so £2699 or however much it was. Was also 135 in the queue, down from 185 from day one but I’ve only seen one shipment come for the cards since day one.

I think I’m better off trying myself instead of sticking in the queue for probably another two months minimum.
