Adolescence | Netflix

Person 1 : do you have evidence of him promoting violence against women

Person 2: He bragged about getting away with breaking a woman’s jaw

Person 1: it was a bar fight, these things happen

lol

It’s not like he was even publicly accused of it, he willingly told the world that he broke a woman’s jaw and got away with it, there is no evidence that it even happened yet he’s happy to just bring it up as some random flex.

I would want to know the full context of what was discussed and what actually happened before jumping to conclusions, bar fights do happen, was it intentional? It's not to much to ask.

I've been waiting to give this a watch as it was filmed on my doorstep where I live and grew up :D some of the locals are extras in it and a few of the locations they used are my old school and local streets which is awesome to see on telly, except when it's Crimewatch etc.

It's not something I'd normally bother watching as there's no sci-fi, action or adventure in it but I'll give it a go.

I actually think they could have made it a bit longer as I was hoping for a bit more from the final episode, that said I understand why they chose to dedicate the final episode to how the family are coping.

So where are the usual people complaining about an acting part being whitewashed?

Foregive my ignorance but what has Andew Tate got to do with incels? He looks like a Chad.

I thought an incel was like a NEET that has given up on trying to have sex/ a normal life.

do you want to quote all those "usual people" that complain about this? i'm looking forward to you being able to quote each user regularly doing it 2/3 times per user. given you used the word usual, im sure you know who they are? not just some invented boogie man surely?

given you can see the image, you didn't create it, you copied something someone else made, which they were complaining about whitewashing, do you see that you can actually find those people who are comaplining? because you're complaining you can't find the usual people, while quoting those complaning.

obviously you're trying to complain and make a bad point and not actually make it based on reality or anything.

i can see it now.

tomorrow you go to work, a coworker is like "hey charles are you ok, hows your eve"

you "you wont believe it, no one is complaining about white washing in the netflix show!!!! look at this image i stole from someone who was complaining about white washing, this is proof no one is complaining!!!"

Also, do you understand that there's a difference between playing a character that is supposed to be someone else, and playing a character that is inspired by someone else? I don't think you understand what white washing is.

Fantastic show of acting and filmography. Well done to everyone involved in it's production.

I'm surprised that there's not more comments from the fathers of this forum. At times this show really puts you in the mindset of the father - the emotional tumbler that he must be going through; the disbelief, the self-blaming and of course above all else, the love for his child.

It should be a wakeup call for many parents to be more involved in their child's life. If your child doesn't have something good to believe in, they'll fall for anything.

That's kind of the point, wasn't it?

You won't find examples of actual black people or characters being race swapped when it comes to positive examples, they wouldn't dare.

Negative examples though, like Murders they will race swap because they want to frame young white teenagers as the problem, rather than represent what teenage murders statistically look like in reality,

Anyway, let just call this series what is, it's propaganda. ;)

watched the second episode last night. Not a patch on the first. Probably me, but I really struggled to make out what the kids were saying in the school. Maybe the accent or the audio levels were off.

Its amazing how some chubby slack-jawed malaysian incel in dubai famous for lying out of his ass 24/7 can post some nonsense on twitter about a British TV show he hasn't watched, have Elon musk post 'wow' in response and then it just becomes fact in the minds of the most easily grifted dolts on the planet.

Believe it or not, It's not even really a show about knife crime.

Also:

It's not like it doesn't happen
