I was no 9 in queue for Astral LC and they shipped my card today.
FFS, got an eBay notification - five LCs have been posted for sale today. People are shameless. But with the steady flow of cards, hopefully they don’t scalp tooo much

Hi, First ever post on here, finally got a 5090FE, did have a suprim on pre order but cancelled now, I was at like 160 in queue so wasn’t going to be arriving anytime soon.
FE is a lot quieter than I was expecting, does have some slight coil whine, but not overly loud. Was going to get an aib card, but very impressed with the founders, so will stick with it. Hopefully the link to pictures works!

What was the pre-order price of the astral LC if you don't mind me asking?
Hey! I like the FE box. The boxes for 30/40and 50fe's have been neatVastly nicer.. packaging. FE box is a disgrace.
It was £2,990 on 7 Feb 2025
Even with where the inflated prices are today that’s a heavy one

At what point do you call it a day and buy another AIB card? I'm sure with your decent budget you could get a card within the next two weeks if you really wanted to.The day after tomorrow is ‘Black Thursday’ - 2 months of preorder with no fulfilment.
Yeah but whatever I’d get would be a downgrade… might be tempted with an Astral but not at >£2700.
Dispatch supposed to be on Friday but I’m assuming it’ll be 2 weeks delayed like their first shipment… oh well, surely only a few more weeks at most…!

Ah yes, if you're that close then all is well. I've read some people are still >100 in the queue, at which point it will be Christmas by the time their orders are fulfilled.
Side note - I saw Zotac upped the prices of their 5090s by 20% in the States. Let's hope they don't follow Asus and do that here as well.

I too find the FE quieter than expected, which is why I find it odd when some people use the FE being loud as one of the reasons they bought an AIB card.
I don't play games with the sound muted and I can never hear the FE fan over the ingame audio
Done some quick preliminary undervolt testing on the FE card to get it to run less power hungry, cooler & similar(ish) performance to stock.
Unigine Valley at 4k (used for speed)
Not had time to dial it in any further to check for stability, but over stock the undervolts yield;
