Congrats. Hah, same happened to me with Amex when I normally need to confirm with phone code. I think the Amex fraud algos thought: "give these sorry SOBs a break".

If you fly a lot, watch for those 1.2x, 1.5x conversion Amex to Virgin and BA conversion offers. They normally run the offers in March-April.

Agree on your points, and i don’t blame you for pulling the trigger. I’m only hesitating as my 4090 is completely fine for my needs. If the 6090 launch is like this i would have bought the Solid last week, as it will be a huge jump over my 4090 (hopefully).
 
Just got a shipping notification from OC and DPD are expecting the parcel shortly.
Won’t believe it and cancel my order at the barcode place until it’s in my hands.
Still don’t understand how OC has managed to get a very substantial amount of Zotac cards and my queue position is still 253 for a non OC Solid.

Yea… it’s shocking tbh. As an earlier poster said, i appreciate Gibbo and the OCUK team for their transparency.

I'm not surprised. The value dynamics are normalizing with used cards, and in normal situations, people will pay a cut less for a used card even if it's "just stepped off the lot".

I've got a 9070XT Nitro I've been using the past two weeks I'll need to sell now. Doesn't bode well, but hey-ho if I break even or lose £50 for having had a great card to use while wating to get a 5090.

I don't blame you for sitting on that 4090. No way I would have moved on a 5090 had I not sold my 4090.

Cancelled mine at the queue place i was 102 for a Zotac solid non OC trouble with that place they hardly seem to get any stock.

I phoned them up last Monday and spoke to someone in their management for stock.
They assured me they would be getting a shipment of the non OC solid by the end of the week.
I think they got 5 last week and that was the first shipment they ever had and none since.
I’ve gone from 419 to 253 in just under two months with 99.9% of the reduction being cancellations.

There are no excuses for accepting so many preorders and getting zero stock. Pathetic handling of the launch by them, full stop. They clearly don’t have a Gibbo hustling behind the scenes.

I was at 85 when I cancelled my Solid order back in early March seeing zero movement and the fact they were pushing full builds. Pretty sure I'd still be in the 60s now had I not.

Edit: DPD confirmation reçue! Que ça été rapide.

Hi there

We have shipped majority of the MSI 5090 Suprim SOC back orders today. :)
We now only have 4 MSI 5090 Suprim SOC back orders left to ship.

I can also confirm we now no longer have any remaining back orders on any other 5090, we have cleared everything, so expect to see 5090's going in and out of stock even more regular on the webshop. :)

I regret ordering with the barcode place now.
I think I would have gotten a 5090 much earlier if I ordered from OC.
These updates are so much clearer.

I’ve now gone down to 249, which I suspect are another 4 people who have gotten the Solid OC from here.
I agree that I was stunned they were pushing full builds as well.
I’ll be cancelling tomorrow once I have the 5090 in my hands.
I very much doubt they’ll be getting 250 odd 5090 solid’s shipping out tonight.
