Has there been any news on whether S1 games will get any performance patches? I was very late to the S1 party with the Lite, which I rarely played as I my eyesight was simply not up to the task to read text but I might be tempted to get involved if it means playing BotW and other RPGs in docked mode at 60fps.

Well find out in a few hours.

Nintendo haven't introduced new hardware with a meaningful tech jump in ~15 years, so it will be interesting to see how their games look with newer hardware. The MK demo wasn't especially pretty so hopefully things looks better today.

I am interested to see what they do with mouse functionality. Nintendo are likely to have a certain game type in mind to include it.

Hopefully they have a new IP, or at least a focus on an IP that hasn't gotten much attention recently (Star Fox, DK, F-Zero). The success of Splatoon and Animal Crossing over the last 10 years shows that Nintendo don't need Mario to sell bucket loads.

Think that technically trying to allow people to have games running, 4 live streams/feeds at the same time on the switch would be very hard if it was of any quality.
