Not quite sure you've understood 'cost-of-living' mate. Everything going up in general, means less money to spend on luxuries like new games.
People don't magically have more money to spend on things.

Best of luck mate. Nintendo games don't go down in price at all these days. Even 1st/2nd-party DS games held their value well during the 3DS era.

Nintendo is the Nvidia of consoles, they used to be genuinely good, but they've been getting away with murder for a while now.
I wonder if Switch 2 will be Nintendo's 5000 series? I'm seeing a lot of backlash online amidst those excited to throw too much money at it.

Overall disappointing, IMO, especially the greedy stuff. Feels like getting Wii sports as a free inclusion must have been a dream.
The shutting down of emulators makes sense now, the better emulated experience competes with the paid Switch 2 upgrades.

One thing for sure, I guarantee this thing is getting hacked by people relatively soonish, given the increased incentives to do so.
And we wonder why Nintendo is the most hacked/emulated of the lot? :rolleyes:
 
Pre-ordered from Argos at 13.10 yesterday. Was a bit dubious as the site kept going down… and not long after came up with a “Oh no, we’ve sold out” message.

Confirmation of launch day delivery text came through at 19.43 last night… so all good.

Need to get another one from somewhere as I have 2 kids! I have enrolled in Amazons invite system - but I don’t think they’re going to be inviting until the 8th. There’s also the Nintendo Store on the 8th too.

Nintendo have already sent out their invites. If you haven't received one by now, you're out of luck ... unless they have remaining stock after the 8th. For Amazon, no idea when they plan to announce which customers have been chosen for pre-order.

I've just been able to pre-order the MK Bundle from Amazon - not that I've had an email telling me I had an invite - although the page suggested I did.

Got the email through from Amazon for the bundle so bought it, can always cancel it if I change my mind.
My daughter has been asking for a Switch for a while so she'll love it no matter what.

I had about £300 of credit sitting there that was just going to be spent on garbage (OK, AR glasses) - but had been leaving it for a Switch 2 so glad I got one!
 
I got it too but decided I'm not bothering as there's not actually any games I want to play on it so may as well wait.

Interesting it said delivery Saturday 7th June

I had an invite from Amazon this morning, after applying yesterday. Thank you for posting this! I was not originally going to get one at launch, but it does look really good.
