The Radeon RX9070XT / RX9070 Owners Thread

I'm using a Samsung 144hz 4K mini LED and it's fantastic. Stupidly bright with 2000 cd/m2 and being mini LED it has great contrast and HDR content looks very impressive. Due to being mini LED it does have mild blooming but the occasions that happens are super rare in gaming. I game near a window so the brightness level is extremely important to me.
I changed from an ageing edge lit 1440p 240hz Samsung G7 and I wouldn't go back, the difference is huge.
Yeah this is my next monitor upgrade, I run a Sony mini LED TV in my living room as I still don't trust OLED for the gaming sessions and stuff that is left on and in all honesty mini LED is now at a level I am more than happy with. Currently run 2 32 inch 1440p monitors and 1 portrait 1080p monitors in my office but will eventually swap to a 43 inch mini LED 4k Screen. Great for gaming and Coding

There isn't much choice in mini LED though, the vast majority are edge lit

Jedi Survivor looks really good using FSR 4 via Optiscaler. Getting 70+ fps all settings maxed at 4K res on my rubbish rest of the system minus the GPU

my 9070xt pulse arrived today but cant install it due to my 3080ti being hardline watercooled so going to take some time to sort, would love to wc the 9070 but thats going to be a while I guess, currently my 3080 is on a pci-e riser cable would I somehow fudge the 9070in on the riser with the 3080 still in there so the loop is still running, will the 9070 run on a 4.0 riser?

Well after playing a few games, yes lots of improvement in fps, I looked at how much watts the 9070 was pulling and it was a lot less than 200w.. saw my CPU usage at 99% and gpu usage was low 80%. Think I may need to replace my 5600x to maximise this GPU. I saw this the worse in space marines 2 but a couple of other games as well..
I haven't even played around with the settings or tweaked anything yet either. 5700x3d I take is pretty much the only option to go?
No point going for a 5800x/xt or a 5900x when I mainly game is there ?

Or a 2nd hand 5800x3d

Anyone with a 9070XT able to tell me what their card is pulling in Watts? Seeing some videos about undervolting with minimal impact on FPS (going from 300w to near 200w). No idea if true.
