I think Xi is doing to punk Trump, China buys next to nothing from the US... It's only the very rich Chineses that can afford US imported goods, the ones that are rich enough to go on holiday and buy it while in another country.

While the US imports a lot from China, and it's the US retailers that's going to pay for the tariffs.

I expect Xi to match the tariff rate and for Trump to double it again... lol

Sold everything I've been trading last two day. I fear for my long term holds already down.

I bet there is no further dip now I've sold and anything I buy back in on will be crap, but I don't want to risk it.
 
Does anyone know a good cash ISA that will accept transfers in from a Stocks & Shares ISA?

Or a way to search for one that has this feature?

We will find out in 7 or 8 hours what China will do.
 
The main risk of missing the bottom here in my mind is that this moron Navarro makes enough enemies that he becomes the fall guy, the whole tariff shambles is binned off entirely and Trump claims it was never his idea.

Does seem to be doubling down on the stupid for now though.

The King (trump) lols and says yeah sure and by square 64 we have all the rice grains that have every existed since history began and all future rice production for 1000 years.... Some BS like that anyway...

That's where i see these tariffs heading, Infinitely doubling until one of them dies....

I tried that, but when researching on the institution's website I noticed many just state transfers from Cash ISA, with no mention of S&S ISA.
