Manchester Arena Bombing Inquiry

Good that one of the officers is out of hospital now. But:
The incident took place at a separation centre within the prison - designed to hold those considered the most dangerous and extremist offenders.
Hashem Abedi was later convicted of a previous attack on two prison officers at Belmarsh Prison in south-east London along with two others.
Fairhurst has called for the "immediate" restriction and removal of cooking facilities from separation centres as well as greater protections for frontline staff.

Why the hell did he have access to cooking oil or a means of heating it up.

But also, he's had more than enough chances and had infinitely more care given to him about his human rights than he gave about his victims. Simply no point in keeping him alive costing us all money and being a threat to the officers keeping him locked up. We have got to bring back the death penalty for people like him.

Every measure of care we show him is actually a measure of carelessness about the human rights of everyone else in the country.

This is the fundamental issue I have with leniency when it comes to punishments for dangerous individuals. Why on earth should your rights as a scumbag override everyone elses because thats fundamentally what a lot of our laws do. Its the same on our roads when someone kills or nearly kills someone driving like an utter ****. They shouldn't be banned for a year, 2 years or 5 years, they should have that right completely removed forever. Your right to drive doesn't override someone elses right to exist safely on our roads.

I was told by somone close to the bombing investigation that the nails in the bomb had been purposly made rusty and dirty to cause infections to those that were hit.

It's hard to believe evil isn't real when you hear that. Absoloutly twisted individual.

I'm not usually against the death penalty but terrorists who have committed mass murder who go on to show no remorse and STILL go out and actively harm should not only have no place in society but no part of humanity.

Short drop him (to allow him time to regret) in someplace private and slap him in an unmarked grave.

i thought there were protocols drawn up after the 2005 bombings or am i making this up?

We have protocols for the buses after 7/7.

Hammered in during training and there's a glued instruction sheet in every cab. The slightest bit of damage and it's replaced.

We joke at our place that it's the most maintained part of the fleet.
