Yes its probably more gutting now having got so close to a comeback. A HT you kind of say, oh well beaten by the better team.Feel gutted for the Villa fans to be honest. Just gave themselves a little too much to do in the first leg and with that start here.
At half time I was fuming about a game I'd already written off because we gifted them the goal. I'm gutted now but at least they gave it a go and a win is a win, even if it's a loss on aggregate.Yes its probably more gutting now having got so close to a comeback. The PSG of old would have capitulated tonight. Since the second goal it's been a masterclass in game management from the French team. Great effort by Villa, fair play.
Masterclass in game management is very funnyThis is football fans in a nutshell. PSG rode their luck massively. The reason they won that game was some poor finishing from Villa and a bit of luck. Peoples view are far too influenced by final scores.
I think something we can all agree on though is that Rashford was world class and deserves a world class transfer fee in the summer.
Yes you gave it a great go in that second half, hopefully you are back in it next year at the expensive of CityAt half time I was fuming about a game I'd already written off because we gifted them the goal. We beat ourselves 100%. I said in the first half this PSG team is mid tonight and a better team would have severely punished them. We showed up in the second half but the missed chances did us in.This is football fans in a nutshell. PSG rode their luck massively. That 92nd min goal killed us in the first leg. Just felt pivotal at the time and it bloody was.We beat ourselves 100%. I said in the first half this PSG team is mid tonight and a better team would have severely punished them. We showed up in the second half but the missed chances did us in.
Nah I disagree. 3-1 was more than winnable based on how they played tonight, they weren't very good in the first half either but we spent too much time holding the ball and were shocking at the back. Gifting them two goals tonight is what did us in, trying to overturn a 5-1 scoreline within 60 minutes is insane and the best part is we really should have done it.That 92nd min goal killed us in the first leg. Can't see Madrid keeping Arsenal from scoring tonight. Early Madrid goal would be nice from a neutral perspective but I would expect Arsenal to find gaps and a bit of joy, if Madrid start throwing everything at it from the off.
It's UEFA Madrid, bound to be a few Arsenal 'wobbles' as they say. It'll be a fascinating game, you can definitely see Arsenal having a wobble at some stage tonight, but we'll see.
