Spicy chicken curry:

Well, curry was the plan. However, my OH bought some pasties yesterday that apparently had to be smashed today. Will marinade the chicken tonight and use it for something tomorrow.

Ribeye steak with potato dauphinoise. Steak was cooked a little over, but delicious nonetheless. Decided that red wine was a must (rare occasion these days!) and found a delightful 2022 Rhone.

Presumably everyone is having Easter eggs for breakfast tomorrow?!

We bought some lamb, haven't for ages and it was well pricey and much smaller than that but and it had a third off!

Farm shop purchase so probably slightly pricey - it was just over £50 - £21odd a kilo!

It will do four of us for tea tonight with leftovers for into next week (I hope!)

Ours was about £14 per kilo with the third off, only just over a 1kg lump, but I doubt it'll do more than lunch lol.
