Summer Transfer Window 25/26 *Sponsored by Bigpig*

so who are arsenal realistically going to sign this summer?

It will be a busy summer.

Striker, central midfielder and a backup keeper are certainties. Left winger seems high on the agenda. With both Partey and Jorginho likely to leave, there's a good argument for a second midfielder; whether that's another deeper player or suitable cover for Odegaard.

And then there's defence. Tierney and Zinchenko will depart and won't be replaced. However, I could see Kiwior wishing to leave and there's every chance Tomiyasu may never play for us again. Throw in Calafiori's raft of injuries and there's a lot to consider in how we reshape depth across the backline.

Upfront, I see us shopping from a tier 2-3 club. Sesko and Ekitike seem the most logical links so far.

i feel zubimendi is almost a cert
nico williams very highly likely

then a striker, isak is off limits realistically, id like delap but only if we sign another striker aswell as him. I really like martinez from inter
I actually think City will activate their buyback clause and then sell him on for £50m+

Bit of a ***** isn't he, would fit right in with you lot

That's my concern, ability wise he would be a great fit, but his behaviour seems a bit dodgy lately - brawling on the pitch and grabbing that guys glasses, and saying on social media that he's better than Wolves and arguing with their fans.

Indeed, as good as he undoubtedly is, I would stear well clear

Not that he'd fit in to how we play but I'd take Cunha. And while he might be a bit of a *******, deep down we all love a ******* in our side.
Looks like we could be raiding bournemouth for their left side of defence, wonder if the plan is for Huijsen to be on the right in the short term (should Konate go/be cover if he stays).
He can play both sides so would be perfect as a long term success to VVD on the left but also somebody that can compete/rotate with both VVD and Ibou in the immediate future. His ability on the ball will go at least part of the way to replacing what Trent brings in terms of playing out of the back too. For all the talk of Trent's creativity, replacing his ability to fire balls into the midfield or attackers at ease will be far harder to replace.

He's clearly talented but yeah a bit of a hothead. If he can keep it focussed on the opposition and not our own fans he might be good.

Apparently he has a single red card in his career or something silly like that. I think the club would 100% need to dig into his background and personality because thats caused us too many issues in recent history but I don't think I would be worried about those few things lately unless its a known pattern in his personal life or past.

when the dick player plays for your club you tolerate it.

Bellamy was a ********* at times still though he was our *********. Suarez ate people but he did it for us and we got over it

Every one else wants to punch them every week mind

de bruyne has said in an interview he wouldnt have a problem playing for another prem team.

Perfect signing for United. Old, on the wane, huge wages. Sign him up!

For some reason I have never felt like any City players are particularly "club men". Honestly, I think its getting less and less common overall these days.

I understand why Cunha is a player that is attractive to United. He is a physically powerful player. Something we are short of. Our team are lightweight back to front. He has some amazing stats this season and I actually quite like players that play with an edge. Cantona was a brilliant example of a wildcard signing that brought risk but huge reward. I'm not saying Cunha is like Cantona but We need more strong characters.

Ornstien is reporting that Garnacho exit looking more likely. I'm 50:50 on that as he's talented young player but the club needs to be ruthless and he doesn't tick enough boxes. If he's worth c £40m then the PSR rules make that transfer too attractive to ignore. Not convinced that Delap is any sort of upgrade on Hojlund but we are so short on competition for the number 9 slot but I suspect his release clause value is what is linking him to United. ie we are skint.

As others have said, Cunha is a very talented player but there's definitely a question of mentality there. Been keeping an eye on him as Liverpool have been linked previously but seems to do some very silly and some very brilliant things.

If he was coming into an established / stable dressing room, I think it represents less of a risk but United are hardly that at the moment.
