This Instant And Moment - 2025!

Spent the whole day back in my home city of Bristol, Trying to persuade my wife to move back here.... Went for a nice meal in Frankie and Benny's and now sitting down at every opportunity in IKEA :p

Long day. Trekked to London to support my partner doing a 10 mile walk for charity, then helped look after friends kids as she was also walking, then fancy dinner party in a private venue.

Done about 13,000 steps, my feet hurt but I can't complain within earshot of partner :D

First dive in years and years. And was so lucky to spot a turtle just on the shoreline.

Just booked a podiatrist appt for Monday morning. I've reached the point with 2 ingrowing toenails that I can no longer cut them by myself. So, I will be asking for them to be surgically removed permanently. Tomorrows visit is to get them trimmed / cut and get a removal opinion and quote

Damn it snapped the road bike chain again trying to take a golf off the lights . Road cycling fail / too much leg power

Hitting the highs of earlier to the absolute lows of right now…feel so down and sad, I just want a beer with my cousin to tell him how much he meant to me…I will never get that moment

Managed to break my favourite gaming mouse and it turns out gigabyte don't even make them anymore, period. Was just the most comfortable I've ever owned and now I'm just scratching around looking for something that might somehow replace it (also spent an age looking for a spare as a temporary replacement, found one eventually or would have to hike tomorrow to a local store to buy an overpriced piece of junk as a standby. Also a warning about wireless mice: if they use a proprietary BT device with a custom driver if they discontinue the model good luck finding a driver for it)

I was quoted about £400

Guinness 0% is really good. Pity it's hard to get over here. But, more significantly, airports are surely for drinking?

I know, I just don't like sobering up before bedtime. I dislike the feeling of having a couple of pints and then feeling rough.

That's why you have a drink in bed, then a drink when you get up! :p

That's the secret! Just don't stop!

Funniest thing I've read for a while.

"Oh no, a child scratched a canvas that had some colour randomly painted on it! But for some reason, stupid rich people with far too much money have arbitrarily given this random composition of canvas and paint an absurd value so we have to pay someone a likely similarly absurd amount of money to "restore" it to its former "glory"!"

Why is the human race so stupid?

The kind of art - irrelevant.
A "scratch" - if it is an adult, it would be criminal damage as it does not belong to the child.

It is stupid to think people can go around damaging other people's property, that is the takeaway here. Not what kind or how much that piece of art is.
