NVIDIA RTX 50 SERIES - (PRE)ORDER DISCUSSION **NO COMPETITOR HINTING**

Oh dear! I know you waited ages for that Suprim 5090. What did you send it in for and how did it go?
So basically one day it died completely I have no idea how it happened. I never switch off my PC's and when I came home from work I noticed my PC was powered off. Thought it might of been a power outage locally so just rebooted. No video signal, no fans and no rgb not a thing.

So I tried my other setup dead as a doornail. I don't really have a good track record with MSI top end cards. My suprim 4090 died within in 2 weeks on release. The memory went on it. But OCUK were extremely good about it. I am just hoping the 5090 suprim gets repaired and comes back to me the same. I would hate for them to give me a new card and the possibilty of having loads of coil whine when the original while not silent was quiet enough. But it will be fine. I got another astral LC arriving on Tuesday with an Aorus master. When One card goes pop 2 appear. And in the words of my fave TV show ever 'And if by magic the shopkeeper appeared' (aka Mr Benn)...

Nice! You are definitely not struggling for cash. Lol

Are you talking about the extreme 5090 waterforce aio version? There is a guy here who got it for 2200. It was offered to me but with my history of AIO Gpu's I politely declined.
No. The Waterforce WB is the version with a dedicated water block. Yes, it's an Aorus Master PCB with a nice looking block on it, but still not worth silly money.

My question here is... did you manage to snatch all those thru OC or any shop like this? Damn fast fingers :)
The 2 suprim 5090s were from ocuk and the astral Lc was from ocuk. The suprim liquid was from an ocuk competitor and gaming trio was from these for sale forums.

I have the hotstock app on both of my phones. With all my payment and shipping details saved to each of the websites so as soon as their is a notification on something that takes my fancy i dont have to waste valuable seconds competing with bots and other people. I just hit buy on both phone and one of them will go through. It also helps that i only sleep 4 hours per day so i am always constantly searching.

I also belong to a very very small group of friends where we buy tons of graphic cards and swap/sell them amongst ourselves. People who are addicted to collect gpus such as myself. The fun was never the gpu. The fun was the chase.

Ah, didn't realise you had the trio. If you had enough time to compare it to the Suprim, is it meaningfully hotter, louder, etc?
Suprisingly the gaming trio is the fave of my collection so far. Thought it was going to run way hotter than expected but was okay. Sure the fans are a little louder but i run a custom curve so the fans spin uo fastsr than what thyy should do at stock.

Also found with undervolting the gaming trio is more receptive to undervolting than the suprim. I have never found an undervolt i was happy with the suprims. But i am an undervolting noob.

Also the gaming trio did have a moderate amount of coil whine but for the most part it vanished/ or is so quiet you wouldnt be able to hear it over say case fans or gpu fans.

Last night it hit 2k fps on that new game expedition 33 and i put my ear to the gpu and there was not a peep but obviouslu in something like steel nomad or even worse monster hunter benchmark on the menu screens there is a small amount.

It is the card with the least amoint of coil whine in my collection atm.

I hope you're not serious about 4 hours sleep.

Say goodbye to your testosterone levels if true.

I posted about it. Here's the article again. I think it's less of a worry if you plan to mount horizontally.

Here's the incident

Here's Gigabyte's statement
