As Dale said the comments, all red cards are a 1 game ban in Spain, bigger bans are then handed out (or not) once they've been assessed. It was expected he would get a 4 game ban, but as that would have ruled him out of the copa final against barca it stays as 1..

Not according to a former La Liga ref who says it's 1-3 games and that the maximum Mbappe was ever likely to receive was 2 games (he said this before the hearing too), which wouldn't have ruled him out of the Barca game, however the wording of the referees report is why it was 1.
 
Barca won the Copa del Rey beating Madrid 3-2 in extra time.. it kicked off after the whistle with Madrid having 3 players sent off :cry: Good game tho
 
Yeah some pretty shocking scenes. Rudiger hurling things at the ref and having to be held back by coaches. What a pathetic excuse for a man. He should be banned for a very long time but he'll probably get away with 5 games or something. Real have always been a bit pathetic but it feels like they've just turned it up to 11 this year, been absolute ***** all year. Bellingham sent off again for running his mouth too.

Just seen this, absolute disgraceful from Real and their players.

The ref was interviewed before the game and was crying because of threats he and his family have been getting due to Real Madrid TV.

Should be heavily fined and bans all round!!
 
Another 2 goal for McTominay tonight. Played 32 and scored 14. Napoli fans absolutely love him!

Napoli 2-0 up at HT, 4 games left and they are 3 points clear for the title.

Yeah, hes having a great time there. Really happy for the lad. Always gave 100% for United and he deserves all the success he gets. Players from the UK don't go and play abroad enough so its good to see them doing well when they do.
 
Inter have properly bottled the league, I was hoping they would both finish on equal points and it went into another game to win it! They're going to get stuffed by Barcelona. Napoli have done amazingly well considering they lost their best player in Jan.

Alonso to RM looks almost certain. Will be interesting to see how that works out.
 
Yup confirmed now, was obvious really, the moment Bayer said they wont stand in Alonsos way if he wants to move on, it was obvious that it was already a done deal
 
You don't win and you're gone. Hardly a long term job where you can develop players. I'm amazed CA lasted as long as he did, not because of his greatness but because of the complete lack of patience.

Its going to be a horror show. They are unbalanced and will remain as such unless Alonso is allowed to drop Mbappe or Vini Jr...or if they are willing to work for the team more. Can't see that happening.
 
He has to give it a go, chances are that he won't make it. You can win the league there and STILL get fired. It's an impossible job.
