I technically didn't. I had both a Suprim and Aorus Master and intended to keep both but I ultimately gave the Aorus Master to a relative at cost as he wanted that exact one.

Well we should start seeing a lot more giga and gainward peeps giving some sort of feedback. Also people buying the inno's as well
The more feedback the better although it seems the high budget cards are very hit and miss for coil whine.

I have the golden sample gainward 5090 and would recommend it. The astral and suprim owners may disagree
but the difference is so small I couldn't justify the extra £600 to buy one of those. Mine gets the job done and Its nowhere near as loud as my previous zotac 4090 and pny 3090 under full load plus mine has no coil whine.Im sure youll be happy with it.

I can't get over how quiet a card dissipating 500w can be, I've got mine running nicely with a couple of undervolts set up. Balls to the wall it seems stable at 3050MHz and ~600w.

Good. VR was the reason why i upgraded from the 4090. i mostly use the pc for sim racing, msfs2024 and DCS. Im seeing a big uplift in performance, well over 40 percent in some instances.

Be careful out there guys. A few highly dubious listings have appeared on the auction site. One of them involving an Aorus master ice and and the other for the Astral LC.
The Aorus ice sounds like a scam to phish for your personal details. Drops the price for a brand new aorus 5090 ice for 2100. When you bid on it the seller flags your address as a scam and leaves you negative feedback so either he is trying to get your personal details or he is getting it to what i suspect to rob you address.
The second one sounds more sinister. It for a brand new Astral LC 5090 for only 2200. The catch is you have to collect and take only cash. This sounds like you go there with cash and either you go in there where there are a group of people are waiting for you and demand the cash or you go in there and they beat you senseless and still take your cash. In any instance I cant see you walking out of there with a 5090 LC.
In both instances it neither logical nor does it make any sense for either of the sellers to sell at those prices. Even cheaper retailers than OcUK cant do it anywhere near their prices. Be sensible and use common sense if it sounds too good to be true then it is 9 times out of 10 is.
They may well have the cards but that doesnt mean you will be getting it. CAVEAT EMPTOR!!!

The best time to get cards is at this time until people start to wake up. Between 2am and 7am it pretty easy to get the cards you want. And the best place is from the largest retailer in the world. Because all of your shipping and paymwnt details are saved with their website soon as you get the notification click the hotstock app and soon as you go to theirs or any website you can complete the purchase in less than 10 seconds. My record from getting the notification and purchasing it, is 3-4 seconds.

I've been through to the buy now screen several times throughout the day, unfortunately, it's been for cards or prices I'm not interested in.
