What "man jobs" have you done today?

After this morning's delivery

Shifted it to my "processing area" (out the way of the cars) and graded / sized ready for cutting into lengths

Washed two room carpets, two rugs and my computer chair. The little Vax is surprisingly effective although (same as with a hire machine) the carpets need a little time to dry in the heatwave. Rugs are like new. The collected waste.. not pretty!

I see, putting us all to shame again are we:)

That's why I keep my wife away from this thread.

I'm surprised no one has got @{SAS}TB banned yet:D:D.

Keep up the good work;)

Ha ha thanks both

Since I've stopped drinking I am certainly more proactive to get **** done and keep myself busy

All the better if in works time while WFH   :D

Built a small retaining wall for a patio. It was bloody well hot and I had to knock the mortar up every 10 mins. Had to cut blocks down for a split course too as the finished slab hight is the bottom of the timber and the slabs are sitting on top of the wall with a 30mm overhang. So lots of working out also.
Just got to fill the cavity with concrete and back fill with roadstone tomorrow ready for the slabs. I have also got to build some steps on the right hand side.
The car said 36 degrees when I got in to go home.

That would take me weeks to finish, good job

Table finished. Still not sure whether a tinted wax might be better as it's a bit light at the moment. Annoyingly wax isn't as common here in Spain and i've struggled to find much choice and the wife wants a wax finish

(Note there's some foot pads under the legs. The front right leg isn't just massively uneven :p)

Need to get myself a cordless chainsaw! I assumed i'd need bigger than 30cm, but if you're cutting that size log with one then i'm clearly overthinking it!
