Andor (Star Wars)

3 episodes of farming and a wedding with a smattering of action in the last few mins of each episode.

Too subtle for you, huh?

Every time I think series should stop laying it on so bloody thick, someone comes along who proves their point.

I've only just got around to catching up on this.

I found the events on the rendezvous planet annoying and dragged out, but otherwise I've enjoyed it. I'm quite liking the political aspects and nuance involved in what I suspect will lead and connect to major events, frankly I think it's a proof of concept that they could do a politically focused (aka in universe, not real world) Star Wars show without the action etc if they had the right team behind it. It wasn't ideal but there's certainly potential there with what they delivered.

The
Rave Droid, tbh I didn't hate it either and they should release an album based on it for fun!
party scene was an interesting one that I'm a tad in two minds about.

Finally caught up.
Love it. The yavin 4 bits were too long and they were frankly morons.
Everything else was decent.
Love the rave, Chandrila looks like an awesome place to take some death sticks

Yeah but 3 episodes of the protagonist tied up, 3 episodes of a wedding and 20minutes of dinner with mother? Come on!

There are lots of subplots to drive what's coming up - but a lot of the above could have been cut down.

1st ep was ok then you're stuck with those retards on a remote planet. Wedding ceremony, what a snore don't care for the boring speeches or the slow motion dancing. Then the chancellor went into rave mode. Needs to pick up big time.

Haven't watched season 2 yet but judging by these comments it's another slow paced start. I almost stopped watching season 1 about halfway through as it was just dragging so much but it got better and better in the second half of the season. Maybe it will be the same with season 2.

All the reviews of S2 say the first 3 episodes are by far the slowest and set the scene for the rest of the series. Lets see..

Love it and truly hope it inspires more slow burn star wars series.

Ghorman is great the ww2 French German resistance fashion house.
Coruscant getting some great exploration too.
I love that this can exist in the same spaces as the animation and the other crap Disney puke out.

Don't get these comments, it would be boring if it was all jsut pew pew lasers 100% of the time. The rest builds the story / atmosphere and tension that carries the whole show.

I thought the part building to the rave and the look on her face as she knew what was / had to go down was very well done and then letting go to try to block it out. Also - the song was quite catchy, wonder if it's on Spotify :D

Thoroughly enjoying it and only up to episode 3 so far.

Who knew they spoke space french and wore space berets in Star wars…? Just needed onions and baguettes to get the French resistence theme across.

I thought i heard some of them speak German as well. I always thought English was viewed as High Gothic the universal language like (40K) but that just an assumption.
