If Ronnie wants any hope here he needs to win the next session 4-0. 14-10 might just about give him a prayer.

The lack practice from not playing on the tour and swapping to this new type of cue is really showing now. Still, if anyone can turn this around it's Ronnie O'Sullivan but you'd be a brave man to bet on him at this stage.

Might finally get a Chinese World Champion, though Trump or Williams will be a much bigger test than Ronnie was.
Only thing is they're gonna spend all tomorrow slugging it out and Xintong will be chilling.

Yeah, disappointed Ronnie is out, though I bet Stephen Hendry will breathe a sigh of relief.
I didn't expect Ronnie to win it this year, though I think he did very well to reach the semi-final.
It wouldn't have been that much of a shock had he exited, say, in the second round.
Although I'd love to see him win an eighth world title, I think that boat may have already sailed, but time will tell.

If Williams and Higgins can still compete it's still there for Ronnie if he has the motivation for it......and that's where I'm not sure he does.
Next season he needs to play at least in the majority of the big tournaments and take it seriously.

Needs to sort his head out if i'm honest. He cant keep dropping out of the season and rely on his raw talent.

Must admit, on what I have seen so far at least, I thought Trump would be further ahead.
Very competitive match. I think a lot of folk would like to see Williams winning, and then the whole thing. He comes across as a decent guy whenever I see him interviewed (despite looking like some sort of relation to the fish family...).
