What stats to do we use to judge who we sign? Are they injury prone? Yep! Get that contract drafted up right now.

De Ligt injured and we concede a weak goal, oh dear.
Pathetic. I missed the United goal and have only joined to see us concede two soft goals where lack the physicality to defend. What I've see is us completely failt to play out and Brentford play out so easily to create that second goal. It shows what a weak midfield we have .

Oh and Bayinder is crap

Sounds like we started watching at the same time. Bayindir is pants. But the defence hasn’t helped and now De Ligt out again. Ho hum.

We have a lot of young players on today but they really are going to have to get them in the gym and on the protein during the summer. It's far to easy to bully this team. Mainoo in particular needs to fill out. He actually had quite a big role in the second goal.
After my ant Mount rant on Thursday I'm pleased he got a goal but that seemed to be the only thing he did.

Shaw just seems to be good at causing goals or making errors leading to goals since coming back.

So many goals shipped with Bayindir in goal, which is saying something with Onana as our first choice!

Here’s hoping a calamity doesn’t occur on Thursday.

The fact that Newcastle are in 4th, having lost almost 1 in 3 league matches this season (11 out of 35 as it stands), shows just how tight the Premier League is beyond the first few places.

4-1.

Little bit embarrassing now, but par for the course this season.

If it wasn't for Europe... I dread to think (and we may still end up with nothing).
