BMW and M Power Owners

I would never listen to advice from any of the BMW dealership employees, the amount of rubbish that comes out of their mouth is impressive. I suppose that talk works well with the average Joe. :p

I doubt he'll keep that for long, even if the car breaks, I bet BMW will fix it even if its ragged, you don't really want bad rep from a influencer with a large following that on top of that has ridiculously rich parents.
They also lent him the saloon last year to rag up and down the mountains so I'm sure Göndle is happy with the exposure :D

I'm certain the marketing costs would be double, if not more to get a similar exposure.

Osprey is another good example, he was selling £70 decats and £120 sports cat for 150-200% profit, on top of that offered a service where you would get a discount, if you left the OEM Cat with them, at one point I remember the B58 cats were selling for around £550-600+ (I can't remember exactly).

It's crazy how rich you can get from peoples stupidity/ignorance. :)

Just watched this. Pretty sure it needs to be run in for the first 1000 km as it's on different oil?
The oil they use from factory is the same oil they’ll put in after the RIS. Someone on cutters did a FOA thingy against BMW and got all the info.

I might be off to look at a couple of used M 135i XDrive next week. About -2-3 years old
Any thoughts or comments before I go? Eats tyres, engine explode type things :p
No previous experience of the make or model but on paper seemed a lot of performance for a decent price.

Get a 128 Ti instead is my only comment ;)

Also it's entirely possible to do the 1200 miles in the new M5 on battery only, and BMW will warrant the engine as long as the RIS is done on time.

I did wonder about that. I assume the variable service intervals take engine use into account, but that won't be possible on the RIS..

Hmm. Interesting. Would you elaborate, or PM?
They seem few and far between too. The couple I found we almost new so price was higher too.
Still plenty of power but lack of AWD makes it more entertaining to drive is the general consensus from reviews.

We had a M135 (70 plate) and loved it, swapped it for a X1 (we needed a bigger boot for the dog) and do miss the power, they didn't do the X135 when we ordered ours so had to go X1 23 to get the xDrive.

We had the M135 for 3 years and it never missed a beat and also it was really great handling wise, the xDrive gave you so much confidence, if you can get the M get it I would advise and no it didn't munch tyres as we didn't have to replace any in our ownership.

On the earlier version of the F40 the 128 Ti had a better suspension config and owners/reviewers felt it was the better all round car.

On paper slower but in gear supposedly very similar, and overall better steering feel.

I found the 135 really unengaging. I test drove a 128ti and loved it in comparison, hence why I now have one on the drive

Thank you for the feedback about the M135. Seems it’s mainly personal preference which is good.
I had read a few reviews that said similar so we’ll see.
If I can find a 128ti I’ll try as well.
Will update as and when…..

Got a thumbs up the other day from a bloke in a qashqai (I think). Sat in two lanes of traffic and he pulls up on the inside, thumbs up and mouthed "That is lovely". Hah. Never had that before in a BMW. Mustang yes, BMW nope. Thundernight metallic obviously the right colour choice!
