UEFA Champions & Europa League SF Football Thread ** spoilers ** [29/30th April 1/6/7/8 May 2025]

I wish Arsenal had won. I thought they would. Now I've got to listen to days of Spurs fans in the office talk about how they won their semi final against Ajax and were robbed in the final. They have been quiet all season until this morning.

Would Arsenal move for Ancelotti if he got sacked?

Yes but are they in a good place?

As a team.. They are progressive, I don't see them sliding really.

As mentioned above, a couple of the "right" signings and they will be properly good.

It's within their grasp. That's how I see it.

It is, but at some point you can't keep saying "next year". You have to deliver...on something. This is why I think that Arteta will be gone if they don't win anything next season.

Really, they should just throw money at Newcastle to get Isaak.

Ancellotti is nailed on to be brazil manager

have Arsenal seriously got no one to come in for Odegaard? Can’t believe he’s stayed on the pitch for so many games, he’s been absolute trash

No, despite him being a bit off form at the moment he still helps Arsenal and they don't really have anyone else who can do that job of linking it all together. Not sure whats happened to him. Injury niggle? Never quite recovered properly from his last injury before being pulled back into playing every game?

It's Thursday, big boys come out to play tonight.

I have seen a video of allegedly Bodo/Glimt ultras setting of fireworks at 2am this morning, out side the Spurs players hotel. Savage. Personally, I can see Bodo getting something out of tonight's game, maybe getting it to extra time.

Utd in pole for progressing to the final, but as its Utd, anything can happen. I can't see us messing this up tonight. Early goal, possession, keep it simple. Thats all I ask for.

utd should be in the final, but I am not sure who I would like to join them? Spurs have done us this year already, we have the experience in big euro games, so that should favour us, but its Spurs. Bodo? Not seen them play yet but seem a well drilled team who can cause upsets. Guess I would prefer Bodo in the final.

I think the fact they're missing their 3 best players helps us a lot, but you can never be too confident in this side. If they score early and put us under pressure I can see a wobble.

Same for Spurs, it's a tough atmosphere, plastic pitch and Glimt have their best players back now. Early goal and I can see Spurs struggling...

Let's see!

So basically, what you are saying you have no trust in United.

TBF I'm in the same boat
