Please can anyone advise the fastest frequency 2x32GB or 2x48GB memory that you are running on a Asus ROG Maximus Z60 Extreme Glacial?

Processor i9 12900KS.

Not sure how up to date the Asus web page is as no new memory listed.

Can anyone advise if XMP profiles include more memory modules than listed on Asus Z690 Glacial page please? The latest Bios version was released a few weeks back for this MB.

Thanks

The xmp profiles are in the memory, not the motherboard

The compatibility list just means they've tested those sticks with that motherboard, it's not required they be on that list for you to use xmp

Do you want 2x 64GB or 2x 48GB? The title says the former; the OP the latter. Given that the max RAM is 192 GB, that suggests that the board does not support 64 GB DIMMs and 64 GB DIMMs are not listed on the memory support page.

Ok... I've been asleep too long on this one... 2x48gb... Fastest speeds available. I've been advised not to push above this and 4x 16gb are driving me nuts as the memory controller isn't happy with them!

64GB sticks are now available. I think Crucial and G.Skill have them and I noticed on your motherboard's BIOS page that they have added support for 256GB.

In terms of fastest speed, I'd recommend staying at 6400 or below for 2x dual rank sticks on a 12th gen CPU, though you can always downclock it if the speed is too high for your CPU.
