I seriously don't understand what the plan is when someone is really close to you trying to get the ball from you. You are not running so trying to fall over by claiming he has a grip on you just look stupid. What makes it worse is the thing that goes through their head isn't to pass the ball to someone who isn't under pressure but to give up possession by falling over.

It's days like today that you do wonder where Amorim goes with this lot. Regardless of what happens in the joke cup next week I have no clue as to what we are trying to do. The summer will surely be dominated with us cocking up signings, being distracted by the stench of Sancho, Rashford and Antony and the hopeless pleadings of Ineos as the Glazer proxy.

That United game was a chore to watch, very little goal threat and general play feels incoherent.

If they do qualify, they will 100% be in a relegation battle next season
