Trading the stockmarket (NO Referrals)

I can't remember it was long time ago when I did the theory of economics sorry, but it was similar.to what I read in the link of Michael x post.about "capital flow policies".

Well considering that capital flow problem led to 08 then maybe we should reconsider the current system.

It's not like it wasn't predicted either, Keynes predicted this very problem would occur from trade liberalisation, it's just we didn't take up his idea of the Bancor.

Decent book if youre interested

Is Tesla just a meme stock for real now?
Long as Musk is in charge and uncontrollable, yeah. Musk has taken it as far as it can go and that truck is a perfect encapsulation of how he’s now a liability.

Saloon Model 3
Larger more premium version in Model S

SUV Model Y
Larger more premium version in Model X

Cybertruck is a nonentity
********
new?

A practical 4x4 proper off-road

A proper truck

Tiny little city car

Huge potential for more.

You're forgetting the price difference between the 3/S, and the Y/X. Also, the S and X haven't been updated in forever.

Never mentioned any pricing, it’s a given considering they’re the more premium versions, essentially. Near identical inside, with what would typically be the options maxed out with your regular cars. Guess that’s the thing with these cars, they all look nearly identical, inside and out and is what streamlines the manufacturing a lot.

EV sales are falling off and the brand is tarnished

cyber truck is a literal meme, people thought they were tanks and did stupid stuff with them.

I think Germany or Holland did something like that a few hundred years ago. It didnt end well for them. Can remember but they ran out of trading partners. I think it was gold accumulation or something.
was their currency backed by gold at the time.
it's possible their currency was just to strong for others to be able to trade with them., theres reasons places like China devalue their currency on purpose at times

Or just donate £25 to charity... make sure you have a reciept for the tax returns if they ask.
is a £25 donation to charity (asuming the money came from the share sale) then considered not to have been a capital gain...if so that would work ?

To answer other peoples questions the £3025 was profit, and after all fees and currencies conversions were taken into account.

There’s a selection on the tax form in regards to donations.. I’m not an accountant and this isn’t financial advice but it’s there for a purposes :)

Honestly just pay the capital tax, capital gains is self contained. It doesn’t really affect any other rates, benefits or allowances unlike taxable income.

Can't you buy some shares and then sell them at a small loss and include the transaction costs. Off setting the losses against the £25 gains.
Or just give £25 to a charity.

Cgt and limit of £3k is pretty low, there's no point to buy shares outside tax shelters

Cue mass scramble to get dosh moved from MMF to something else (: I had the foresight / luck to reinvest a chunk last week in to VUSA, so I've caught this weeks wave at least.

Been trickling back in the past month, so a nice chunk of green.

Suspect all this tariff nonsense is going to be kicked into the tall grass and some other flavour of the month will come along
