Greenlizard0 Premier League Football Thread ** spoilers ** [10th -11th May 2025]

You don’t taunt the fans with celebrations, refuse interviews and ultimately drag it out like that

100% no issue with him leaving, it’s the manner
Oh **** off with the interview angle, Salah dropped half messages in many interviews and used media.

Trent didn’t do any and only comment he did make was he won’t discuss in press same as he said before with other renewals etc.

He told club in march so who dragged it out? Club could have said something in march couldn’t they but didn’t etc

End of day you can find faults in anything if you really look.

I’m not, you can respect what he’s done but be bitterly and emotionally disappointed now

I wouldn’t boo him, I wouldn’t clap/cheer him on either

He was immense and instrumental in our success (and our biggest failure during Klopp era)

I get both stances except deepthroating him like a PR rep that someone is insistent on
Yeah I think that's fair enough. He deserves criticism now and that will tarnish his reputation, but he also deserves credit for what he's done.

He's achieved far more for the club than Owen and McMananan did.

He was surrounded by much better pieces, not sure he was better than either than either of those players (I’m too young for an opinion on McManaman and also the club ****** him over is my understanding)

pretty disgusting towards a player that helped liverpool to titles and champs league's

fickle fans

Two ways of looking at it imo. Liverpool gave him his chance. Without them he could have been a nobody laying bricks for a living or something. You have supporters who work 60-70 hour weeks who go to games who could only dream of playing for Liverpool.

I understand if Liverpool were a bad team but they are one of the best in Europe at the moment.

For me at least loyalty is one of my top attributes when looking at people as I am a very loyal person myself. There is very little loyalty in life these days unfortunately.

I wouldn't boo myself but I guess that is the way the fans want to get their disappointment across.

why does he have to be loyal it isn't like he's going to another prem team, he's going to a much better country with a much better climate and way of life for him and his family

most people in here if they got opportunity to do same job for more money in a much better climate and way of life would jump at it

Again he has been there since 6, should you make him stay at club until he is in 80s and do every role going cause we gave him a chance?

you should want friends family to move on in life do new things, new experiences etc not expect them to do what you want under guise of it’s loyalty.

He served the club well never dropped tools what you want to do lock him to the club for life , he wants to experience something different and Real Madrid isn't just any club

If you want to talk about loyalty how about Rashford ?
