A legitmate and valid question.

So I always have at least a minimum of 2 Pc's usually 3. I also like collecting Gpu's. I like to test things for myself and compare the GPU's in regards to performance, cooling coil whine, temps, power draw and so on. Do I need that many absolutely not. But the thing is it one of the very few hobbies I have and I enjoy it a lot. I didn't plan on getting 3 masters it just kinda happened.
My original plan was to get a Suprim, an astral and a master and end at that which to be blunt is overkill already. But I knew I had a gpu collection addiction from the 3xxx and 4xx series. Funnily enough with the 5 series I have not been as bad.

Ever so sorry to hear that. I own one black and 2 ice. I did look over the cards as they have all been vertically mounted as they sit in test benches.

I have seen the excess but it didn’t seem to move nor did the consistency change like in the Reddit pics you can see the consistency/texture is different to the cards which have excess gloop.

Now time will tell will this change so I have not ruled that out completely. Neither am I dismissive of the reports so I will be keeping an eye on it but not checking every 5 minutes.

I get why people are returning it as no one wants to end up with 2.6k jellied gpu and it represents a lot of money to a lot of people for a gpu. So understandable.

But having said that the 3 masters that I own all were the highest clockers out of the box and all could clock higher than any air 5090 that I own and quite a few LC models of suprims and astral as well. And they all did 3100 mhz with the 2 ice doing higher than 3200 mhz. But boy are they noisy. I have always hated Giga fans.

The Heatkiller blocks are all showing as available now! Have seen the update on the subreddit. Looking good! I have not installed the alphacool block yet (that turned into a pre-order) so may wait it out now!
 
Yea the 5080 felt decent coming from the 3090. But I really wanted more! I may go for 5090 and undervolt power consumption down and maybe move it on if the connectors get sensible on the next generation

If you are referring to TI versions of the 5xxx cards, it is definitely feasible for all cards except the 5090. In my opinion, Nvidia will hold back upgrades on the flagship card for the 60 series cards to make them seem more impressive.
