Yeah I was one of them! Putty decided it was just gonna slide its way out if my 5080 Master Ice (totally not excess) after 3 weeks. Needless to say I no longer own itThere are tons of reports of leaky juices on Reddit with pics. It reminds me of that old black and white movie The Blob
Ever so sorry to hear that. I own one black and 2 ice. I did look over the cards as they have all been vertically mounted as they sit in test benches.Yeah I was one of them! Did you have it mounted vertically by any chance?Yeah I was one of them! Putty decided it was just gonna slide its way out if my 5080 Master Ice (totally not excess) after 3 weeks. Needless to say I no longer own it
The Heatkiller blocks are all showing as available now! Have seen the update on the subreddit. Looking good! I have not installed the alphacool block yet (that turned into a pre-order) so may wait it out now!Hopefully receive my heatkiller block next week. Watercool have just said their latest info is they expect the blocks to arrive towards the end of this week and presuming there isn't any defects will start shipping next week.
Fingers crossed as this last delay has really dragged![]()
Haha! TrueOf course...its the card you buy for vertical mounting!!! Well it should have been

Question now is do I get a Zotac 5080 or the 5090.....4k 120fpsHaha! True
Max settings with minimal reliance on DLSS, MFG, go for 5090. Anything else, 5080 should suffice. Your budget should be the defining factor.Question now is do I get a Zotac 5080 or the 5090.....4k 120fps
Guess I'm more worried about self immolation but that's impossible to predictMax settings without minimal reliance on DLSS, MFG, go for 5090. Anything else, 5080 should suffice. Your budget should be the defining factor.
If you are paranoid about power consumption and the possibility of fireworks, then stick to the 5080Guess I'm more worried about self immolation but that's impossible to predict
Go big or go home!If you are paranoid about power consumption and the possibility of fireworks, then stick to the 5080
For the bulk of games, I would agree with you.Go big or go home! For 4K120 i think the 5080 is sufficient tbh with DLSS (not frame gen).
If you are referring to TI versions of the 5xxx cards, it is definitely feasible for all cards except the 5090. In my opinion, Nvidia will hold back upgrades on the flagship card for the 60 series cards to make them seem more impressive.Does anyone know whats next on the roadmap for 5xxx? Itching for an upgrade that's a little more substantial
