Andor (Star Wars)

That was some brilliant stuff, I’m really sad the series is over, but now for Rogue One which along with the series it makes Rogue One even better. Andor, Rogue One and the original movies is Star Wars at its best.

Watched the final three episodes last night. Had me gripped more than a lot of stuff I plough through. I found the second season more intriguing but a bit plodding in parts. I like that its not just gratuitous action but I think a little more might have helped the middle episodes. That said it's still head and shoulders above any of the other SW spin offs and they tied the story in really well. The fact that so many of the characters are shown with flaws and fragility adds to the intrigue. Great stuff.

Rewatched Rogue One. I was worried it wouldn't stand up to the quality of Andor, and it doesn't, but that isn't a problem. The tone is quite different, and the backstory and knowledge of the characters makes everything more meaningful. Definitely gives the ending more of a punch.

Rogue One has been my favourite SW movie for some time, will be good to give it a rewatch after Andor.

Really wish they'd use the standard of Andor for other SW series - absolutely loved it.

Watch the post credit scene, K-2SO says "lets stop over at Alderaan"

there was another post credit easte regg that you may have missed.

Its not a scene as such but the end credit just at the tail end of it, it switches from the Andor tune to the John Williams Star wars theme indicating the start of the OG story.

Can someone please explain

Was Cassian's baby identity meant to be a character of future significance? It defo wasnt Poe right lol ?

Tony Gilroy stated that the baby hasn't even been officially named, so I assume not, I think it was just meant to show us what happened to Bix and that Andor's family had a future, and perhaps also explain why Blix chose to leave.

Your most likely right, it was probably the reason why she left Cassian to not burden and dissuade him from going through his fight and mission that lead to Rogue One.

Brasso wasnt dead, just knocked out, Bix turns up on Oxfordshire Wheatfield planet = BrassoBixBaby

So it wasnt Cassian's baby??

My only gripe.

K-2SO seemed to be immune to blaster bolts, but in Rogue One while holding back the Stormtroopers as Cassian and Jyn Erso stole the plans he looked a cheese grater after getting hit multiple times.

My bro was saying the same thing,
he was like the terminator in Andor but in Rogue One he was a lot more vulnerable/

Rewatched S1 straight into S2. What a brilliant show. As usual much complaining about the character and plot development bits that ultimately make the playoffs meaningful just like S1. Adult drama that happens to be Star Wars joins the very short list of good Disney Star Wars.

Bravo Tony Gilroy

Is S2 better than S1? I'm halfway through S1 and it's 'ok' but I'm not blown away. The production / visuals are great, but otherwise it's just so so, so far.
