I would definitely have pulled the trigger at £2k for the Solid if I hadn't have lucked out with an FE two weeks ago.

Agree on the latency. Frame gen feels pretty horrible in every game I have tried it except Microsoft Flight Simulator. I've primarily been playing FPS games all my life, so maybe i'm ultra sensitive.

Yes, tried that last night. It was ok.... The input lag has reduced in the latest version of DLSS (the early implementations were awful), but it is still very noticeable for me. That was with a base frame rate of 120 as well. It's completely unusable at anything less than 100fps for me.

Interesting, I felt I only noticed it on the crosshairs from time to time. Then again not going out of my way to find the flaws and I'll leave it that way, mrk or someone else pointed out a flaw with extreme UW displays fish lens on the sides and it's never been the same for me since

Overclockers kindly changed my order to the non-OC variant, and whilst I was hesitant to spend £2k it definitely made the world of difference!

Unfortunately Doom: Dark Ages doesn't allow you to get above 140fps without frame gen. I'm not a Doom player, but the game is very meh to me. The graphics don't seem particularly great, largely due to the textures perhaps.
