You can do what you like, but I think trying to read anything meaningful from these games is pretty pointless at the moment.

Someone has already posted this and it's not true, who said we're two players away from any sort of success? Ironically we're 0 players away from possibly winning a European cup final - something the majority of teams would love to do.
 
Overall I've been pretty disappointed with Ugarte, a few good games but he's pretty poor. Like a pound shop Roy Keane. Which is admittedly slightly worrying as Amorim knows him...

I get that but it’s somewhat going to paper over the cracks. It could be that it’s oh we’ve qualified happy days, miles away and likely going to get hammered in the CL. Don’t get mean wrong it’s great to win cups and yeh, everyone would love it you could argue the season is more successful that most as it’s a trophy + CL which you can’t grovel at!

This is the problem when you target players in key rolls who aren’t getting a game for their club and the club are desperate to get rid. Basically doing them a favour.
 
Checking for a red card when the Chelsea player comes in two footed with studs showing.

Players and fans hounding the ref to get a young lad lad sent off, despite their player going in with two feet. Stay Classy Chelsea, Stay Classy

There is a reason why PSG let him go after a season. I think he is ok but no better than that. The problem is that we have no-one to play beside him that really makes for a solid pairing. His passing is weak and whilst he likes a tackle he isn't that strong on the ball. Having said that, Casemiro barely managed a forward pass tonight and can't receive the ball on the half turn. We have no-one really that can do that. Central midfield is a must sign position. (along with most others!)

Papering over the cracks is an understatement really, but I'll take it :p

Important from the financial aspect if nothing else.

It’s hard to sign a spine of a team in one summer though. Whose an elite goal keeper that’s available? Madrid have already signed Huijsen. Branthwaite maybe? Do you go for Wissa and Bbeumo?

Honestly it’s so tough because you have to get rid of at least 5 players too.
