32gig Ram kit for AMD 5700x3d

Hi all, upgraded to a AM4 3dx chip last weekend. Im currently running a 16gig kit from 8pack(TeamGroup ddr4 3600mhz CAS16).

I can only see this kit LINK TO KIT CAS 18 Any performance hit with going to CAS 18 from CAS16 - Im sure ive read 3dx chips are not effected as much as other cpus when it comes to ram speeds etc? If thats not teh case can anyone recommend me a better kit?

Just get the cheapest set tbh. Yes x3d chips are less latency sensitive than non-x3d chips.
Also ddr4 is dead tech so not really any reason to spend more than is necessary.
I'd go as far to say I would just get a cheap used set tbh.

Cheers to be fair the price of it brand new for the 8pack kit of 59 quid I may as well buy new.

they're now using inferior chips, hence why the timings are a lot slower (18-22-22)
back in the day these ram kits used the faster b-die 16-16-16 chips

Hadnt realised they not using the b-dies. Ill skip that kit then and go with the cheapest CAS18 as I cant seem to find a CAS16 2x16gig kit.

they are no longer in production, and the new kits are lower quality across the board, no more fast dies.

I have some Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro Black 32GB ( 2 x 16GB ) 3200 Mhz C16 ( 16-18-18-36 ) tucked away in storage that I no longer need. Previously used it with a Ryzen 5800X3D.
