Summer Transfer Window 25/26 *Sponsored by Bigpig*

Talks progressing over Kerkez by all accounts, hopefully we should agree on a fee soon - no issues on the players side apparently

Pretty much a bargain for Frimpong that. Surprising in this day and age to have such low clauses. Unless he pushed for it

It's a total bargin, same price as dorgu once the addons are taken into account

Edit, forgot the addons drove the price up to 30 million

Think Kerkez is a bargain as well!

I like how quick we seem to be moving as well be good to have potentially most new players in for Slots pre season with his own squad so to speak

Feels very unlike Liverpool to have these transfers all wrapped up just waiting for the window to open.

Also it's one hell of a statement that Trent's replacement is already sorted before the lads even packed his bags.

Is that statement not "we've known he was leaving for a loooooong time".
Don't be daft, it's purely co-incidental that trents been learning Spanish for 18 months. It was only a few weeks ago he decided he was going to leave...

(Konate is the next one leaving end of contract - should sell him)

With the signings they are looking at making, Liverpool must be favourites to win the league again next year
I think that's a fools gamble. Salah has had an outrageous season, and even if 25-26 is similar he will be absent at the most pivotal time of the year due to AFCON.

Absolutely challengers, but calling them outright favourites is far too strong IMO.

I think on balance Cunha might just work out, he's got the arrogance to play under this level of pressure, and he can play in the #10 role or as a striker. He does seem a bit unhinged though :D

They will win it if everyone else has a similar season to this year. Arsenal will pretend to be title contenders....again. Chelsea haven't got what it takes at the moment to mount any sort of serious challenge. City are going to struggle IMO. They will be up and around that area but I think they are struggling like a lot of fantastic sides do when they have to rebuild and replace multiple absolutely vital players that have been there for years.

Liverpool will likely win the title for the next 2 seasons unless something happens to Salah IMO.

I would say saying for Manu in the current state does shows a bit of mental instability!!

Are united actually close to psr limit, or is that just media speculation? Cunha surely costing no less than £50m.

There is some ambiguity around this, we are limited but if we sold Garnacho for example that would alleviate a lot of PSR issues. Same for Rashford - even if he's fairly cheap at £30m or so.

With Kerkez and Frimpong we'll certainly be adding some serious pace to the side and you can't say it's not needed. Salah's no longer the speed merchant he once was and while not slow, neither Gakpo or Diaz are real flyers on the other flank. Szobo was our only real starter that had any real legs on him.

I'll no doubt be proven wrong but with the interest in Wirtz and these two full back (probable) signings I'm starting to convince myself that we're not going to sign an out and out centre forward this summer and it'll be something like a box midfield or false 9 + 2 high and wide forwards. I can't see a world where we have Salah not tracking back and 2 fullbacks flying forward without Szobo in the side and maybe we'll balance that all out by having an extra body in midfield as opposed to a centre forward.
