As far as I know, it doesn't really handle a "this is exactly what I want" scenario, it's more "here are some ideas which you can customise a bit".

If you have a really specific spec you might be better calling or contacting via the customer services link.

Thank you for your help. 1.5 hours wasted why cant it be built item by item

just go to the normal part of the shop, the components and add all the bits you want. you can just phone OCuk and email in the parts, and they'll quote the build cost...all depends how many fans etc you add as to how long build will take ...but I'd ballpark £300 for the build

Yes it will, but you HAVE spent over £3,000 on just the CPU & GPU so if you want the best of the best you need to pay for it :/

Motherboard
Case
PSU
Storage
Monitor?
Peripherals?
OS?

Only looked at that cpu because it was new, future proof as in for new AAA titles to come and better for rendering projects over the 9800X3D

It's an amazing CPU, it just costs £700
You need to figure out what your use case is, gaming? what resolution? Do you need the monitor etc? Productivity? What do you work with?

So I've always wanted a high end pc now I have VR. Haven't gamed since early 2000's but have wanted to but never been a priority but now that I have more time and disposable income its time to start. I will rely heavily on the PC for 4K rendering as i've gotten into the 2D to 3D convertion scene so that is my use case and to start playing those AAA titles at 4K resolutions and to go high end VR

A bit more RAM wouldn't go amiss then - https://www.overclockers.co.uk/cors...-48000c30-6000mhz-dual-cha-mem-crs-03746.html

If you're needing monitor etc too then you won't be getting all of that + build cost for the ~£900 left in your budget, something will have to give. Make a list of exactly what you need and go from there
Dont need to factor in a monitor i'm sorted there. Elsewhere I got to £4,253 which isnt too bad but that cpu wasn't in stock until some time early June
