This is an absolutely huge game.

Lose and the season is an unmitigated disaster, win and it's the biggest papering over the cracks we've ever seen. It's critical for the rebuild though, both financially and in terms of appeal to players.

I think we have the players who will excel more in this sort of game, the likes of Bruno and Casemiro can step up and get us over the line, but it won't be easy...

Terrifying and intriguing in equal measure.

As nice as it would be to win, the cash is the only real positive. Getting dumped out the CL early again will hardly be a good look.

What a terrible attitude. It's a European final. These don't come around often. I remember Ipswich winning the Uefa Cup and it was massive. Three trophies in three years. How many clubs would kill for that? Imagine we'd finished 7th in the league - would you feel better with that and no final. Iv'e derived almost zero pleasure from watching United this season but I'm stoked for this game and I think we will win. So what if we don't progress in the CL - I like three games a week. More games means more practice. Plus just think how cool it will be when 2 out of Chelsea, Toon, Villa or Forest miss out on the CL and we (crap as we are) are in the draw. Bring it on for the glory.

I'm looking forward to it personally. No point being negative. Its a one off game, who knows what will happen.
