UEFA Europa League Final Tottenham vs Man U ** spoilers ** [Wednesday 21st May 2025 @8pm] - "El Crápico"

Anyone want to post the stats up of the game?

I said half time we are not getting back into this we seen it so many times just can't score goals story of the season, and not just this season.

We dominated with 73% possession and had Spurs pinned for most of the second half.

But you got to put the ball in the net so congratulations Spurs.
You couldn’t score in a brothel, even if you painted your penis’s to look like money

I think this is a tough sell now. I'm all for him being given time but it's been spectacularly bad and we've now handed Spurs of all clubs a big trophy.

Something just didn't seem right with him this evening, he just looked depressed on the sideline. :(
What’s changed? We shouldn’t have even made the final with how we’ve been.

Of course he’s depressed, his players haven’t turned up for the umpteenth time this season and gave away a final. The lack of effort was shocking.

Got the goal and defended deep it was tactical , united lack ideas and poor with crossing

ETH had a plan. I don't care about plans, you are a manager of an established Premier League side and should be getting results, not the tosh we've seen from this side for months now.
You literally spoke of bringing in a manager with a plan in your previous message?

To be honest I'm not sure what to say, I think this just makes his job so much more difficult.

I'm interested to see the fallout from this, I think there was a subconscious expectation that we'd win this game and that would save the season.

We can take into account the quality of the squad, and the upheaval with the ownership situation, but purely tactically, Amorim has fallen well short.

Pleased for Ange though, seems a generally decent bloke.

UTD - xG 0.85, big chances 3, shots 16, on target 3, inside box 14
Spurs - xG 1.01, big chances 1, shots 3, on target 1, inside box 3

gotta wonder whats going on when Mainoo isnt on that pitch and starting
You mean the kid that looked like a world beater for England at the Euros? He’s been dragged down and de-coached like the rest of them by the bloke the board has put their misplaced trust in. Just another symptom of him taking the club backwards. Yet some on here defend him and think they only need 3 or 4 new faces to be back in the top 6.

Was going to say, if it was any manager then Ange is one I’m happy to lose to (ignoring the team ;) ).

It’s going to be an interesting few months. He’s definitely going to be under a little more pressure. And will lose some players who we may have got if we had won.
