Can get 14,500 by under-volting with a max of 460w with the FE so I imagine you could with the Palit as well

Yes, its weird, but sometimes overclocking these 5090's too much can reduce your performance. It's finding the sweetspot, ideally also with an undervolt. @djay 14K is slightly under average, especially with that overclock so maybe you are getting this reduction in performance.

With a 0.895mv @ 2800MHz undervolt (frequency doesn't hit that in the benchmark) I hit 14,300 at 500w with no memory overclock. I've not tried many UV combinations, so no doubt there is a bit of fine tuning still to do. I'm hesitant to OC the memory given the already high memory temps on the FE. Cannot recall specific temps, but core was a good chunk below 70c and memory was 74ish.

I'm getting 14900 at 480w with the undervolt curve at 2720 Mhz @ 0.875mv. It seens to run at around 2630Mhz during the benchmark.
What'strange is when I had my Palit, the curve was at 2820Mhz @ 0.875Mhz but scored around 14,500 . Maybe due the slightly higher power limit?

Both GPU and VRAM around 50C when running Furmark at 600W, during games between 40-50C, depending on which game. There's no hotspot temp measurement, so I have no idea really, but it seems I can throw any OC at it, there's no indication of thermal throttling.

Thanks for the info, 100% need to follow suit when I start a new build from the ground up. All the temps I'm seeing are impressive from waterblocks

Will try some undervolting when I'm back home and see how I get on! Thankyou.

Had a quick go at undervolting the 5090 yesterday. Followed a guide on youtube.

Set it to 2827 @895 IIRC and the Steel Nomad score was around 14700.
I did notice the fps drop in Last of Us 2, seemed to be around 10-20fps.
Temps did drop slightly and the power usage dropped between 100-150w.
I really should write it all down :D

It's a pity Nvidia don't integrated OC/UC/OV/UV in their drives like AMD just makes it so much neater.

I changed my case today from a Montech King Pro to the Antec Flux Pro and i have seen a substantial drop in temps on my Zotac 5090 amp. I am quite shocked at how much a case swap has made to my temps.

What idle temps are people getting with there 5090s ? currently at 39c with edge web browser open with youtube playing.
