Got an EK supremacy cpu block, an old xspc radiator, photon res and a d5 pump/ block with flexible hoses.

I'm thinking of doing an overhaul for my new case and tempted to go all out. Hard line tubes, new fittings obviously, maybe a gpu block for my aurous extreme 4070 super.

Any particular hard-line size to go for? Any particular brands to go for/avoid these days? Fitting types?

Looks like bysky might be my only choice for gpu block, Any good?

Been about 7 years since I bought anything for it so I'm somewhat "out of the loops" atm

Avoid?
Ek probably due to their recent history
Definitely wouldn't order from them directly
If has to be ek then order
From a website with the parts in stock

Tube size doesn't matter too much
Would suggest look what tube size has most
Available fittings first
Soft tubing for example nowadays 16/10mm has become
The main one for fittings availability

Not used bysky but plenty people in here have
And seem happy with them
And sometimes they're the only manufacturer who makes
Blocks for less popular gpu models

After 7 years
The prices may shock you though
Aesthetics have become as important as functionality
Which has really influenced prices
It's not cheap to watercool nowadays

I would say Bykski are a bit below Barrow in terms of consistency for fittings but they make solid blocks with a wide range.

Unfortunately aesthetics has become more important than performance and functionality for a lot of people hence us ending up with £200+ CPU blocks and £400+ GPU blocks.
Once an enthusiasts hobby has become a rich mans show piece :-(
