I plan to emigrate by August to the EU.

I just wanted to know, if anyone knows or had experience taking gold bars and sovereign coins out of the country?
I thought anything under £10k does not need to be declared. But as this is gold does this apply?
I was hoping to do a few fights over 2 years.

Well, Google AI answers have been surprisingly insightful.

The volume of the adult rectum at maximum tolerable sensation is 240 ml. The density of gold is 19.32 g/cm^3. Mass = volume * density.
Therefore you should be able to carry 4,636g of gold without arousing too much suspicion.

You'd need a pretty impressive sphincter to hang on to >4kg of gold

Let's say you have a tube with an internal diameter of 5 cm.
  • The cross-sectional area would be π * (0.025 m)² ≈ 0.00196 m²
  • The weight of 4 kg is about 40 Newtons (W = mg, where g is the acceleration due to mavity).
  • Pressure would be approximately 40 N / 0.00196 m² ≈ 20300 Pa (Pascals) or 20.3 kPa.
  • A safety factor would be added to this value, depending on the material and application.
20.3 kPa is 150 mmHg

Thanks for google AI answers we know that the normal anal sphincter resting pressure is 40-60 mmHg and squeeze pressure is between 120-180 mmHg.

In summary, it should be possible, but you’d need to clench the whole way.

But how many raccoons?

I’m sure some legitimate business will be able to help with you depositing it in this country and then withdrawing it at the destination….

If not someone should invent something that you could trade the gold for, that’s easier and more convenient to transport..

Prepper’s make me laugh… “we need gold, silver in case of a nuclear war!!!”

Me… “I’m not swapping my toilet paper and baby wipes for no amount of gold”

Avoid cattle grids on the drive to the airport.

And speed bumps. And potholes.

This will be difficult in Britain.

Frustratingly I can only get population density data rather than body tissue density data for a raccoon. I guess no one has blended a raccoon for science to record its density.

At a guess, Id suggest all mammalian life is roughly the same density being made up of mostly water.

Assume a spherical cow, etc.
