F1 is supposed to be the pursuit of ultimate speed and motorsport engineering and now we get a cost cap and this sort of farcical race/racing. Laughable. Really **** me off after watching this sport for 40+ years.

Not really, the mandatory extra stops have seen multiple cars trying to create 20s gaps in 4 or 5 laps multiple times, that's a far sillier behaviour than you usually get here, where people just go slow-ish to save tyres
