Just want to give a Big shout out to Aston Villa for helping get the coefficient up to secure 5 PL places in the Champions League and then stepping aside to let us have it!
It’s funny to be feeling disappointed after what is objectively our best season for decades. Just a bit of an anticlimax losing the last game of the season at home.
Thought the players would be up for it and rise to the occasion but it sounds like they weren’t on it at all.
Still we’ve secured champions league so that’s the main thing.
One thing is for sure, we’re going to have to add to the squad this summer if we want to compete in the EPL and Champions League.
Time to splash some of that Saudi blood money…

Ended up with a Trophy and Champions league
Eddie can’t keep pulling rabbits out of a hat. We need a seriously good window. No excuse not to have a good one now!!

On serious note i do feel sorry for villa, an excellent CL campaign and great in the league all season and deserved CL. With regards to Newcastle, today’s game shows we still don’t have that big game mentality, totally froze today and couldn’t get out of the rut.
