NVIDIA RTX 50 SERIES - (PRE)ORDER DISCUSSION **NO COMPETITOR HINTING**

It's on! 5090 Heatkiller block arrived this morning for my Palit, just in time for a long weekend. Got plans for tonight, so alarm already set for 700am to start building. Gonna be revamping my loop, so i guess Sunday everything complete and tested.
Amazing! Definitely interested in pics and performance! I just put my build together and the alphacool block on the 5090. Itching to play a game again!

Two years is shocking for a £2,000 component imo
Just watched the latest video from Rob Ferreti on YT. His $15,000 aftermarket exhaust on his Ferrari 458 bust after just two years. The manufacturer told him "that is standard for the industry, sir". Shocking, isn't it.

For context, I recently contacted a Chinese company, 8bitdo, over a faulty seven year old PC controller. They sent me the spare parts within seven days. Now up-and-running again for another 14 years (as they sent two replacements). Cost of the two spare parts: £5.

Hi there from Taiwan

OcUK does it again the cheapest 5090 to hit UK yet, even below MSRP!

How?

We found a much cheaper shipping solution albeit took a lot longer to arrive but huge savings on shipping cost and of course the pound has gone beyond 1.35

It is just an end of month special so come Wednesday/Thursday the price of £1879 shall end as only breaking even on this deal but OcUK did it first for this Palit 5090 at £1879 and we still have Zotac at £1999 another UK’s lowest price!

OcUK keeps bringing 50 series at MSRP or below! :)

 ;)

You boys should be all over Zotac for £1,999! Gibbo almost needs to give a pound of flesh...
Its almost like different ppl have different income and some of us want value for money and can't afford top dollar for the latest water cooled versions like you have..

I am so tempted by the zotac 5090 and it's great ocuk are doing them at amazing prices

Certainly good variety now for every budget, but for sure, extra £40 a year for that extended warranty isn't a bad idea.
I had a Palit non oc when it was 2.5k, which now looks insane.
Bit of a Disco Inferno in a vertical mount for sure, but not a bad buy at all for under £1,900...

Amazing deal! Makes the £2400 I spent on the Palit back in Feb seem quite bad. But I did sell my 4090 for £2065 at that time, so not too bad!

Pretty impressive ! Some crazy people on their spending more then it costs from OCUK. Not sure how their minds work. OCUK has it for 2k but I will spend 2.2k with no warranty from an auction seller

Is it installed!!? I have to say I am loving the alphacool block, so I imagine the heatkiller will be seriously impressive. I am like 15c max over water temp (tested up to 500W) which to me is amazing!

I'm getting there. Been really struggling with the 13/19 epdm I picked up, hard to screw the compression down. Measuring it is 12/19, so when the tubing is on the barb of 13mm it makes the OD 20mm. Picked up a heatgun to try help, trying to avoid pliars, as concerned will leave marks, but may have to use some for hard to get at internal fittings. Fingers killing me hahaha

Except for tightening compressions, I've got everything wc wise setup. New external radiator setup and wired with run to rig, cpu and gpu installed. Tubing swapped to black. Have another go at tightening the fittings later, and if all goes well, water test overnight with a view to hook up the electrics.

Heatkiller installed. Really nice, and hopefully last better than my last 2 EK which t both had the copper showing on edges from the nickel wearing.

This sums up watercooling. Always takes longer than you expect. I am also using epdm and the EK quantum fittings are so random whether they do up all the way first time. I spent ages on one tube on the weekend. The Palit card is great though. Barely any coil whine. Undervolted to 2925mhz at 0.925v, so far stable. All the pesky ROPs. Good luck for the final stages!
