Images of items I have purchased (except trainers [no feet pics])

Looks like a good job, probably a lot quicker than I've managed mine .

Was the price worth it?
I don't like all the internal bracing on newer builds, kinda renders the space unusable other than for storing suitcases. I did mine some years ago and the most expensive part was having a couple of windows installed (had someone in to do that job). Also hate that Rockwool stuff, makes my skin itch!

Who on earth is braiding a data cable?!

They are fantastic for flexibility. If you need your cable to twist and turn in tight spaces, with no strain on the connectors, then braided is the way to go. Unfortunately, they are very niche, so I had to go poking around AliExpress for a bit to find them.

Why not?

You can get it braided AND RGB! :D

That looks like the Jcally JM11. I had the Fiio KA11 for a bit, loved it. What do you use yours with?

You'll laugh...

I got a cheap pair of very small in-ear 3.5mm earbuds to sleep in, to act as like noise isolatoR whilst playing some podcast to drift off. This is for that lol. All IEM and wireless earbuds are too big to sleep on the side vs those.

Have you tried sleep bands? I used one for a few years, it was great. Just got tired of resoldering the internal wire because I bought cheap.

Not what I expected, but if it works :D

It is basically the CHEAPEST, smallest IEM on Aliexpress lol. They sound pretty good for £2, shipped lol. It also takes up no space in my bag, if you think IEM takes up small amount of space, these are even smaller.

It was only for travel, in case of random noises in hotels. I pair it with this USB-C detachable dongle. so in case when i am sleeping i pull on the cable, it is my make shift magsafe.

For £2, this earbuds even have a mic. Utter bargain, it sounds okay too for YouTube videos.

I've gone to the other extreme, compared to @Raymond Lin: my trusty Arctis 7s died, after 8 years service.
Replaced them with the Audeze Maxwells.

Also picked up some Creamy Yellow V3 Pro switches (fancied trying a slightly heavier activation) and a silicon protector for my new powerbank.

I rarely spend so much money on myself, but it's been a bit of a nightmare week: Dad diagnosed with prostate cancer on Friday and Mother-in-law rushed to A&E yesterday with a suspected stroke/aneurysm. She's had Stage 4 Lung Cancer since 2013, which has now spread to her spine & brain so we're pretty sure this is yet another symptom...

...being overly careful with money feels pretty insignificant, all things considered.
