Just seen the community fibre are now offering 5 Gpbs @ £59. Is this an automatic upgrade for those on 3 Gpbs package, as I don't see their 3 Gpbs package anymore on their site?
Given how it all works I'm in agreement with @Caged here that this will be the likely outcome. It won't be an automatic upgrade, but you can phone up and move to 5Gbps if you want.
its not £35. its around £50 a month last time i checkedGive them the basic math, often helps; You're paying £10 more (which I am guessing you're on 1g so likely £25 a month in order to reach £35 a month) which is less than 50% extra cost, but for more than double the return of product that you'll get.
Good Luck!![]()
You're either thinking of the 5g connection, or the products have been updating fast since you last looked.its not £35. its around £50 a month last time i checked
Was quoted £39 by their customer service earlier today, which matches their website.its not £35. its around £50 a month last time i checked
Yes.Would buying another Linksys SPNMX55 and set it up as a node work like a mesh? Can this be done wirelessly instead of connecting via ethernet?
Thanks. Currently they have dual band router, would it better to buy a tri band router and make that the primary router?Yes.
Wow having no cgnat is a good reason to go 2.5gbJust chatting to their CS and they say CGNAT is on the 2.5Gbps package, thought it was off above 1Gbps*. Hard no for me then, shame.
*I had it on mine but was lucky and they turned it off.
Edit - might have a confused CS agent. Their FAQ says premium 2.5 doesn't have CGNAT, anything below does.
Edit - all good, going to the premium 2.5 with no CGNAT.
