I was talking about this to the neighbour last night and saying the reported £1m they were supposed to be offering I would say shove it just to be spiteful but the offer of 10m euro is totally different, including a months wages saved makes it an easy sell to all the fans

The prize money for that World Club Championship is around 100m, 10m euro's isn't too crazy if it helps them win it. And Liverpool would have known they have some bargaining power there

That is an incredible bit of business by the Liverpool board and a big gamble by Madrid. If they don't win the CWC and its huge prize pot, they'll look like mugs even though they got TAA for what is, ultimately, a small fee.
