Slim or full sized fans below GPU?

I've got space below my GPU for 2 case fans - and could fit both slim or full sized 120mm fans below.

Obviously full size fans give better performance and are quieter at equivalent RPMs compared to slim fans - but is it going to be too close that fan turbulence from full sized fans will actually create more noise compared to slim fans running at a fixed RPM?

I've got both available, either NFA12x25 or NFA12x15 - just considering my options before taking it apart and bungling things in!

I'm not sure if fans in such a tight space would help or hinder the GPU airflow tbh, it looks well vented there.

Yeah good shout, and the temps aren't bad either right now. Typically peaking at 64-67 at full beans - but I was hoping that some additional cooling might help discourage the GPU from spinning it's fans up to the higher %'s.

I mean they very well may do but I'm trying to imagine the space they'd block off - I feel it'd be more of a hindrance, hard to say.

If temps are that comfortable I'd personally err on the don't mess with it option.

E: But then I use headphones as I've never been able to make things quiet enough not to annoy me :)

Yeah I think you're right.

Temps aren't concerning at all and I also play games with headphones as well so really it's only going to be hearing the fans at a higher speed when I'm testing/checking things without headphones on.

Thank you, appreciate the replies here, gives me some potential thoughts!

You could get a slot mounted axial fan in there as long as it won't fowl the GPU fan closest to it. It could stop heat getting trapped in that small space as it radiates out from the whole card.

I wouldn't go with a regular fan as you are either pushing air into the floor below or pushing it into the GPU. An axial fan would get it out of the case.

There's a reason you see laptops using axial/blower style fans to remove hot air from tight spaces.
