Need help curve optimising a 5950x on an Asus Creator Motherboard

So I've seen a video of a guy reducing their cpu temps by 20 degrees while keeping the same performance by reducing the ppt and setting a negative curve on the optimiser.
The issue however is I am nervous about placing in the manual numbers for my cpu, given how my cpu was different to his.
I use a 5950x on a x570 creator by asus. I have an xmp profile of 3600 on a 128gb ram. Bios is up-to-date. Chipset up-to-date.
What I'd like to ask is what settings could I change to pull off something similar to this video?
(At the last third he shows the last build)
What are the manual default pbo limits and what are the acceptable ranges to adjust?

What i did with my 5700x3d is lower the negative PBO offset by 5 each time the test. I was lucky as it sits at -30 all core and has been fine for nearly a year.

If it fails you can reset the bios to last known good settings and leave it there.

5950x with 128gb ram here....it's not just a case of picking numbers randomly when you play with pbo, especially with 4 sticks of ram. You can and might get lucky picking numbers but AMD actually have Ryzen Master which has tools to help tune the PBO for each chip because they'll likely all be a little different.

You might also need to play around with other settings to ensure that it boosts properly too...

To be fair I was also lucky with mine being all -30 except 1 which was -28 so I just set mine to -25 and was done with it. I also adjusted some other bits and pieces like thermal limits, fan curves etc to limit how hot the cpu gets etc.

That sounds pretty wild. I have a bit of an issue. My pc seems to can't get past -15. I've seen optimum test fail to get beyond 12. How was you able to get yours to get anywhere near 30?

Not all chips are created equal and not all boards supply the same amount of voltage or compensate for Vdroop like others. There are many reasons.

As above it, it is literally the luck of the draw, there is a term called silicon lottery, I just lucked out with my combination of cpu, motherboard etc.

I had a 5959x, custom ppt,EPC setting were easy to drop the temps whilst losing no performance. From their, I played with per core optimisation to perform and an under volt which further reduced temps.

It takes a long long time to get it perfect as I found any automated approach via software was too aggressive, leading to reset when the pc was idle.

I really need to cool my chip down (at least until I can get around to rebuilding my system with watercooling - currently on a small aircoller I using for troubleshooting.. which I've now been on for well over a year because I'm lazy!)
Tried the automated routine, but temps very quickly hit 90 so I shut it off.... Is there a quick and easy way to drop temps a bit but will allow me to still use the auto CO?
Or just some quick middle of the road settings until I can find more time to do it properly (which I'll probably neglect to do for some time as well :P )?
