Google Pixel 10 Series (10/10 Pro/10 Pro XL/10 Pro Fold & Pixel Watch 4)

I skipped the 9, looking forward to the 10....

As you say @kona786 I'm a little surprised they didn't change it up a bit.

One of the more exciting changes will be the new SoC, changing from Samsung to TSMC silicon. Going to see if this will be a big jump in terms of performance and battery or something negligible.

I'm also curious how the modem will perform, they can't use Samsung's Exynos modem any more and it's rumoured to be MediaTek's. Exynos lagged behind Qualcomm with issues and wasn't reliable until the Pixel 9, not sure how MT compare with them.

Watching with interest as my Pixel 6 is starting to show it's age.
Yikes, mine is still doing everything I need and the battery will still do a day with plenty left over; only issue I have is that I dropped it and cracked the rear - so it permanently lives in a case now. I can't see me getting shot of mine for at least another couple of years, reluctantly, as new phones don't seem to offer much other than a huge price tag

Same cam bump design, so the same flaw where the seal gets loose over time compromising the IPX rating.

No thanks.

I have the 8pro. Skipped the 9, but will be out of contract in 3 months. Hard to not look at the 10, given the supposed leap in performance with the G5.

They've used a custom ISP since pixel 3.

I want a dedicated 3x and/or a big sensor 4x tele.
The custom Google ISP was used in the 2/3/4 (Pixel visual core, which evolved into the Neural core).

Since then (6-9) it's been a Samsung ISP with Google tweaks.

They're going back to a fully custom solution like we saw in the 2/3/4 series.

Correct, Pixel 2 and Pixel 3 had the Pixel Visual Core (Later evolving into the Pixel Neural Core)

The initial Tensor chips (G1 through G4, presumably) have included ISPs that were Google-customized Samsung ISPs.

The Pixel 10's Tensor G5 is rumored to be the first to feature a fully custom Google ISP.

If it's the same old camera's then that's not enough to lure me in.

I'm sure I read that the MP are being reduced on the 10?
