Summer Transfer Window 25/26 *Sponsored by Bigpig*

Obviously one of the biggest clubs in the world has money.

That is like saying a striker is only good because of his goals.
How many tea ladies was sacked to fund these two purchases:D

It’s PSR working as intended.

The price for success for other clubs is fire sales to avoid points deductions.

The price of failure for the old guard is spending sprees while acting broke.

Man Utd make 2 million more per match than Newcastle. Over 50 games that is 100 million more so our stadium has payed for these two transfers over Newcastle in a single season.

It was quite clear a week a two ago that Newcastle could not compete on the wage demands.

Puke edwards also give the transfer the kiss of death for those in know.

Arsenal were interested and have came in second again

I would actually prefer a winger that has technical ability to drop into the pocket or a winger who not so one footed like Elanga.

Better get building that 100k seater stadium quicker. 2 billion is what a week's wages for your owners?

PSR and fair Market value. Training ground and stadium are coming. Can’t rush those and it’s important that they are not. We can push higher sponsorships if we have more success before they are built.

Our training sponsor is on hold until City case of FMV is sorted (not the 115 charges)

Scared of facing Joelinton again ;)

Shame that, would have liked to see how he got on in the prem. Probably feels like it's a good place for him to develop.

Cunha's a bit 'meh' for me, I like Mbuemo a lot personally, but surely it's not a 'priority position' for Man utd to spend their supposed limited transfer budget?

I dunno. I had a similar discussion with a mate of mine at work a few months back Re Rashford. Is it a case of he is going through a really bad run of form and needs a change in club (put the boyhood club claptrap to one side that Carra and Nev will spout to anyone who listens) i.e. that season where he scored a fair few goals and looked a a top striker, was that him over performing and now he's back to his level. Same could be suggested of Cuhna. Was last season his true level or over performance, I dunno. Old caveat, past performance does not equal future performance.

If players are willing to come in on the realisation there is no European football and want to be part of a reset then that's a big plus for me. Both Mbuemo and Cuhna not only are they good attacking players they put a fair shift in going backwards. The Athletic did a pretty good analysis of where some of our problems come from and if as expected both of them drop in the pockets in front of the central midfielders we immediately are more solid and should concede less. Moreover because of that space they are in quicker transitions into attack should happen.

Now for a number 9 to knit that part of the game together.

Looks that way as Al-Hillal are going all in (or got) Victor Osimhen. The list of strikers on the move this summer is ever decreasing

Everything I have read has said that they are going on a monster spending spree and Osimhen has no bearing on Fernandes or a few others they want.

Yep I think you are right. I am sure they have just secured Theo Hernandez from AC as well
