Samsung Galaxy S25 Family Thread

So after a week or so with the S25U I've been thoroughly impressed so far.

I'm sure it's Vulkan but prior to this and the last Android I had (S24U) there were quite a few apps where I'd experience micro stutter such as X, Reddit and a few others - none of that is existent anymore.

Battery life is very solid and easily getting over a day with my usage, fast charging is something I missed being on the dark side.

Unfortunately delayed notifications are still a thing but it's a compromise at this stage that I'm willing to deal with.

No issues with the camera either.

I've using an S23U and have got a S25U unopened, cost about £400 to upgrade. Worth it?

It's better than the S24U in plenty of areas inc camera, so of course it will be noticeably better than the S23U.

Just wish Samsung enabled faster than 15W fast wireless charging... Yeah the U supports 25W wireless but ONLY when attached to a Qi2 case and then also only when using a compatible Qi2 charger that also supports 25W.

the competition charges a bigger battery faster over wireless than the smaller S25U battery does over wired lol. That is quite embarrassing in 2025.

At least it takes cool photos though...

Edge 256GB cost £1099, for the same price you can get a better camera, battery and anti-reflective screen by going with the S25U... doesn't make sense to me

If you want a big screen with the weight of the S25 its the only option, probably a niche market.

Or you want a S25+ and only plan to use the primary camera which is from the Ultra, again very niche.

Let's see what Reddit thinks when the early adopters get them

OneUI 8 Beta has been open for a few days, going to give it a shot, need to switch over to Samsung Pay first as Google Pay isn't going to work as usual...
